Milestone for HÖRMANN Intralogistics: 1,000th AutoStore robot live at Christ Packing Systems
The Funkwerk Group is growing: it is taking over Elektrotechnik und Elektronik Oltmann GmbH from Berlin, a specialist for passenger information systems in regional rail transport.
This takeover includes all of the company's employees.
Oltmann GmbH is known for its monochrome LED display systems developed and produced in Germany. This new acquisition expands the Funkwerk Group's portfolio and strengthens its position in the DACH market, particularly in the field of passenger information for railroads and public transport. With an average annual turnover in the low double-digit million range, Oltmann GmbH has a solid economic basis.
"We are delighted that the team at Elektrotechnik und Elektronik Oltmann GmbH is now part of our group of companies," emphasizes Kerstin Schreiber, CEO of Funkwerk AG, and adds: "Together we can benefit from synergies in the areas of development, service, production and sales of passenger information systems. The takeover is also an important step towards strengthening our cooperation with Deutsche Bahn, as Oltmann is also a long-standing and reliable supplier of their display systems."
The contract has already been signed and the takeover should be completed by the end of March.
