HÖRMANN Automotive: Digitalization along the production processes

The automotive plant in St. Wendel has embarked on several projects in the direction of Industry 4.0, which is primarily concerned with the "digital recording and processing of production and machine data". The implementation of the new Manufacturing Execution System (MES) based on HYDRA X software is an important milestone in the networking of people, technology and organization. The digital recording of all relevant data leads to a holistic view of the production process, such as cycle times, output, downtimes, personnel deployment and much more.
