HÖRMANN Automotive: Skoda is a new customer of HÖRMANN Vehicle Engineering
Skoda Transportation commissions HÖRMANN Vehicle Engineering to develop bogies for the Kassel streetcar system
"At the end of October 2023, we were commissioned by Skoda Transportation to develop the bogies for the Kassel streetcar," says Jörg Müller, Head of Realization of Complete Vehicle Projects. The order, worth around 650,000 euros, includes the design of the bogie frame as well as the integration engineering for all parts and components belonging to the chassis. The 3D model of the bogie, the creation of the drawings and the execution of the strength verification by calculation must be completed by the end of 2024.
