HÖRMANN Communication: Kommunikation & Netze GmbH and Funkwerk AG become one

HÖRMANN bundles competencies and strengthens the infrastructure, rail and service business within the Funkwerk Group. "Following the partial reorganization of the group structure and the establishment of our new Intralogistics division in May of this year, the transfer of HÖRMANN Kommunikation & Netze to Funkwerk AG is an important strategic step for the further growth of the Communication division," explains Dr. Michael Radke, CEO of the HÖRMANN Group.

The two companies have already been working together successfully for many years on the expansion of infrastructure, which is important for the rail industry. The merger will enable them to handle more complex tenders in future, which require not only the pure supply of products but also installation and customer-specific full-service concepts with very short response times.
