HÖRMANN Engineering: Energy-efficient refurbishment of a cultural monument

HÖRMANN BauPlan's Technical Building Services in Chemnitz has been commissioned with the energy-efficient refurbishment of the State Directorate of Saxony, based in Chemnitz, since 2021. The building, constructed in 1929, is architecturally characterized by the Bauhaus style and is a listed building.

HÖRMANN BauPlan is implementing the increasing energy requirements and the necessary conversion requests in various sub-measures. The planners also took structural fire protection into account. The roof insulation is also being adapted to the state of the art due to existing energy-saving requirements.
