HÖRMANN Engineering: eTruckPro - HÖRMANN Rawema participates in research project
The eTruckPro research project focuses on the transition to more climate-friendly commercial vehicles.
How can the transition to more climate-friendly commercial vehicles succeed? And how can manufacturers adapt their existing production systems to produce CO2-free vehicles in increasing quantities? These are the questions addressed by the eTruckPro research project, in which HÖRMANN Rawema was also involved. The aim of the project is to achieve versatile mixed production for electric and conventional trucks. To this end, HÖRMANN Rawema developed a simulation model that can be used to determine the existing structure and the changing personnel requirements at the individual assembly stations for different production scenarios.
