The rail vehicle specialists from Chemnitz have been commissioned by the Kiel-based locomotive manufacturer Vossloh Rolling Stock to develop new locomotives, adapt and update existing locomotives. The long-established locomotive manufacturer wants to contribute to the safe and environmentally friendly transportation of goods throughout Europe and attaches great importance to the economical use of resources and low emission values through new technologies right from the production stage. HÖRMANN Vehicle Engineering supplies mechanical design (3D/2D), technical calculation (multi-body simulation, FEM, crash), software specification and functional system electrics, among other things.
