We all spend a large part of our daily time at our workplace and our work makes an important contribution to the success of our customers, to the economy in our country and to the HÖRMANN Group. And after work, we all want to return home healthy and enjoy our free time with family and friends.

This is why occupational health and safety is a top priority for all employees in the HÖRMANN Group. Many of our employees carry out physically demanding work every day, e.g. in production in our Automotive division or hazardous work, e.g. when installing sirens in our Communication division or on the construction sites of Intralogistics, Bauplan or Communication & Networks. But there are also health risks when working in the office, such as at VDU workstations.

The utmost care must always be taken to avoid accidents at work. No matter how experienced, practiced and experienced we are, even if it is uncomfortable and sometimes additionally stressful: by strictly adhering to the defined safety regulations and rules of conduct, by handling machines, tools, cranes, forklifts, etc. with care, we protect our own health and that of our colleagues.

With regard to the organizational obligations of managing directors to ensure the highest level of occupational health and safety, there is also "no room for compromise": there are clear legal requirements and a comprehensive set of regulations from the employers' liability insurance association, which obliges all those responsible to implement comprehensive prevention measures. These include, for example, regular training, the provision of protective equipment and also major investments in health protection, such as in extraction systems for hazardous gases.
