HÖRMANN Intralogistics impressed those responsible at flaschenpost with the first innovative combined refrigerated and ambient temperature AutoStore® system in Langenfeld (Rhineland).
Even before the system was completed, the team led by Business Development Manager Tom Walther had already received the order for a second micro-fulfillment project for a new logistics building for the online delivery service. The online supermarket flaschenpost went online in 2016 with its instant delivery service and now delivers food, drinks and everyday products to more than 200 cities in Germany. Over 20,000 employees currently ensure that the promise of "delivery within 120 minutes" is fulfilled from over 30 warehouse locations.
