Leon Eckert, member of the Bundestag, visited HÖRMANN Industries in Kirchseeon as part of his Bundesradler-Tour 2024. The visit focused on civil protection, an area in which Eckert is particularly involved. He was accompanied by a delegation from the Green parliamentary group on Kirchseeon local council, including Natalie Katholing, Bettina Moder and Manfred Drosta.

After a warm welcome from Dr. Michael Radke, CEO of the HÖRMANN Group, and Celina Begolli, Head of Communications & Marketing, Stefan Pimpl, Head of Department at HÖRMANN Warnsysteme, guided the group through the demonstration system and explained the permanently installed technology. Dr. Radke presented the diverse fields of activity of the HÖRMANN Group, while Christian Göttlinger, Technical Manager of HÖRMANN Warning Systems, provided information about the various siren solutions.

Leon Eckert highlighted the challenges and prospects in civil protection. Finally, Benno Schrief, Managing Director of the Association of Manufacturers of Civil Protection Warning Systems, presented the objectives and tasks of the association, of which Anna Hörmann is Chairwoman of the Board.

 

After a round of questions and discussion, the event ended with joint photos. Leon Eckert's visit was an important step towards strengthening cooperation in the field of civil protection.
