HÖRMANN Rawema Engineering & Consulting GmbH is a company of the HÖRMANN Group, which comprises more than 30 subsidiaries.

As an innovative, manufacturer-neutral factory planner, we specialize in the provision of technical planning services in the industrial sector with a focus on general planning from start-ups to established companies.

What is your role at HÖRMANN Rawema?

I started at HÖRMANN Rawema as a project engineer. I am now Head of Logistics and Visualization. This means that I am responsible for holistic planning, logistics, internal transport, material flow dimensioning as well as design, optimization and visualization. My responsibilities also include 2D layout topics, the plant plan, the three-dimensional design of virtual tours, visualizations of buildings and processes.

What do you understand by HÖRMANNschaft?

I appreciate the informal atmosphere in our team. We are all on a first-name basis and ONE team, ONE family - that's what I mean by HÖRMANNschaft. And that's not just the case at Rawema, but also across the board in the other HÖRMANN companies.

What do you value about your work?

I like planning. I also enjoy the process from the realization to the completion of an idea. I'm very organized and sometimes a perfectionist.

What does employee retention look like at HÖRMANN Rawema?

There are lots of extra-corporate activities such as games or a soccer tournament, but also internal company events such as Christmas parties, summer parties and training courses. You can contribute your own ideas very well. These are often implemented in the same way.

What does HÖRMANN Rawema stand for?

We implement the factories of the future from idea to realization. We can cover almost anything the customer wants. We are a large network of engineers. Every member of the team is existentially important, every single employee makes an important contribution.

What are your hobbies?

My hobbies are computer games, manga/anime and archery. As a gamer, I prefer to play games that require strategy and where you have to build up something. That's where my passion for planning and organizing comes from.

What is your favorite movie?

I find that difficult to narrow down. There are so many. I like films from the Marvel world, but also anime.

What's the best advice you've ever received?

Be yourself. Be open to new things, but stay the way you are.
