HÖRMANN Automotive takes on responsibility for development of complex assembly

HÖRMANN Automotive in Gustavsburg has received a major bulk order from MAN for the production and development of the front underride guard, a crucial safety component on commercial vehicles. MAN has classified HÖRMANN Automotive as a ‘strategic supplier’. The employees are taking on not only production but also responsibility for development of a complex assembly in collaboration with HÖRMANN Vehicle Engineering, marking the first time they have done this for a customer in the truck sector. ‘We are delighted to have been appointed and to see MAN giving HÖRMANN Automotive such a vote of confidence,’ commented managing director Thomas Vetter.
